17025 Certified Calibration Including Measurement of Electrical Harmonics

Ohio Semitronics now has an ANAB-accredited process that enables calibration and certification of electrical measurements to the 17025 standard for frequencies well above the 40th harmonic of either 50 or 60 Hz.The calibration may also include additive DC offset voltages.

Calibration and certification of electrical measurements at 45-65 Hz has been common; however, the US Department of Energy recently required measurement of non-fundamental frequencies up to the 40th harmonic for several industries.This also aligns with other governing bodies’ recent changes. Unfortunately, there has not been an available means to calibrate and certify above 45-65 Hz.
